Cai Hall

Architect

Cai has enjoyed working on a range of community and housing projects that aim to empower people to be inspired about their built environment. He is particularly interested in the architecture of neighbourhoods and how new proposals relate and contribute to their existing physical and social contexts for the benefit of existing and new users and residents.

At university he studied both architecture and engineering and undertook a thesis about adaptive reuse in challenging contexts and designing for diaspora pursuing a project with a high level of codesign. He has continued to develop these ideas and principles in practice, enjoying working with a wide variety of people and groups on projects as part of the design team and/or members of the local community.
