Phoebe Bix

Architectural Assistant

Phoebe joined the practice in September 2023 and is currently studying an MArch Collaborative Practice course at the University of Sheffield.

She has a keen interest in participatory design that improves the quality of life for people and the planet. Exploring how architecture can listen, include, and celebrate the people with whom the project is designed to create equitable and sustainable spaces. Something she explored in her final year design project, investigating how space can care and become a platform for refugees to express their stories and voices on their terms through various mediums of creative expression. Along with providing opportunities to share and learn new knowledge through sustainable building methods.

Prior to working at Cullinan Studio, Phoebe worked across a range of sectors including healthcare, residential, and public realm. Along with volunteering for FAME collective with the content creation team in her spare time.

Outside of the office, Phoebe enjoys cooking, reading, and going for walks with her dog.
