Tom Bradley

Architect

Tom is a key part of our growing Midlands studio, drawing on his varied experience across a range of award-winning practices in London and Nottingham to further establish our regional base.

Tom is interested in the capacity of architecture to address the detachment between people and their immediate environment. He believes we should aim to design buildings that encourage a slower and more thoughtful engagement with our surroundings that is often lost in our fast-paced digital society.

Along side his practice work Tom is a design tutor at the University of Nottingham, leading a studio on the Apprenticeship course with a focus on sustainable, mixed-programme community-led projects. He is passionate about new modes of architectural education that ensure that a route into the profession is open to all.

Outside work Tom generally spends evenings and weekends outdoors, either playing sport or trying and failing to grow things at his allotment.
