Sam Crow
Architectural Assistant
Sam rejoined the studio in 2024, after a year-out worldwide backpacking.
Cullinan Studio is now supporting Sam on the L7 MSt Apprenticeship course at the University of Cambridge, where he is continuing his architectural studies.
Sam finds beauty in design that is both efficient and thoughtful. He believes that communities and their environments should be at the forefront of architectural considerations. For him, the use of reductively detailed natural materials, engagement with local contexts, and a truly participatory design process, are essential to meaningful architectural dialogue.
Hand-drawing has become a real passion for Sam while working in the studio. He finds great satisfaction in the tactile process of sketching ideas and believes it fosters a deeper connection to design.
In his spare time he enjoys long walks, tennis, and supporting his beloved Arsenal F.C.
